1 hour Taster Llama Trek - visit Kowhai river valley and riverbank, abundant native woodland and wildlife.
Enjoy an hour with one of the world's most exotic animals. Your Llama walks by your side on a lead. Llama are highly intelligent animals, which makes working with them a challenge, and really rewarding.
Out Taster Treks last a generous hour-and-a-half, and includes helping round them up from their paddock, loading into a float, and transporting them to the start location (2km from farm base). There, your guide will introduce you to your Llama, and provide basic Trekking instructions. During the Trek, your guide will continue helping you understand your Llama's thinking and preferences, while you get to know each other.
You will feel a relationship between you and your Llama evolve and develop during your hour together - highly rewarding.

Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
If we cancel for any reason, at any time = full refund
Guest cancellations:
You cancel 49+ hours from check-in = no charge
You cancel 24-48 hours from check-in = $40 administration charge
You cancel within 24hrs of check-in = full loss of payment (unless re-booked within one week)
We are very happy to move your booking to another date, as long as it's available (no charge)
