Scary Slippery Slides
The Scary, Slippery Slides are not for the faint hearted. Good old fashion fun'- a hill, plastic, water and gravity! Fun like it use to be - no frills but plenty of thrills. Suitable for 3 years and up. Open most weekends during the season.
The slides are one of the many features at The Little River Campground. While the kids play you can walk through ancient forest on boardwalks, keeping you off the forest floor. There are plenty of walks, picnic areas and close by attractions, such as dolphin swimming , the rail trail cycle track, Akaroa village and many more. The camp is a back to basic kiwi camp with secluded, sheltered sites for campervans and tents A perfect place to start or finish your tour of New Zealand. Leave to the sound of bellbirds and the river and not traffic and slamming van doors.
