Our vision is simple - produce the best spirits we can with big flavours. We produce all grain spirits in the wild west of the Mackenzie Basin near Twizel - specialising in moonshine and gin. We offer tours of our unique distillery by appointment.

Tours available between 10am and 4pm (winter), or between 9am and 6pm (summer)
The distillery has been "resurrected" from a previous off-grid cheese factory owned by Matt Gunn. Matt & his mate Cody dabbled in some home-distilling before converting the cheese room into Resurrection Distillery. They use grains from the Canterbury plains for all of their spirits as well as foraged local botanicals, and pure water, direct from the Southern Alps. Their Gunnrunner Moonshine is available fresh (unaged) or barrel-aged (bourbon-like). All the Rusty Halo Gins are made from scratch - no bought in base spirit here. Flavours vary seasonally. Tour tastings will be of all available products. Distillery tours are available most days by appointment - just give Matt a ring.
