Our Lake Tekapo to Milford Sound return flight-seeing tour is ideal if you have limited time as driving from Tekapo to Milford takes 8 hours. Scenic flights follow the majestic Southern Alps to Milford Sound via the Mount Aspiring National Park. Enjoy amazing views from your own window seat while your pilot provides entertaining and informative commentary. You’ll see snowy mountains, blue lakes, alpine valleys, glaciers, rainforests, and the wild Tasman Sea of the West Coast. A tour of the Mount Cook and Westland National Parks can also be included. Flights usually stop in Milford Sound for 30 minutes, so you can enjoy the stunning views of the fiord and towering mountains. A boat cruise can also be arranged, time and weather permitting.
