Hanmer Springs Day Tour
If you like natural hot springs to soak in, a nice one day trip to Hanmer is a comfortable day away. I pack a nice home made picnic lunch and morning tea and we can do a wine tasting on the way home. Other options are golf, horse-riding or jet boat.

Hanmer is 135 kms from Christchurch. We drive through the wine area of Waipara and then into beautiful rolling sheep farming country. Enjoy morning tea overlooking the Hurunui River or amongst the beautiful limestone rock formations. Hamner is a quaint weekend holiday spot for Christchurch locals and you can also enjoy horse riding, golf or jet boating for an additional fee.After soaking in the Hot Pools we can enjoy a 2 course home made picnic lunch. On the way back you can enjoy wine tasting in the Waipara area. With morning tea hot pools lunch it is a very comfortable eight hour day but absolutely delighted to tailor the day to suit your wishes.
