Join Malcolm from Top Catch Charters for a fun packed fishing trip to catch your own kai moana (seafood). Then back on shore, travel to Hapuku Kitchen and join Fiona in her cook’s kitchen and learn the art of preparing and cooking your own fresh catch. Relax with a glass of local wine or beer and enjoy everything you’ve prepared. 2 hour private fishing charter, safe, chilled transportation of your prize catch to Hapuku Kitchen. Half-day cooking school experience where you will forage for fresh ingredients. Learn how to scale/fillet your catch and prepare a whole crayfish. Learn how to prepare your catch in a variety of ways including smoking and grilling. Relax and enjoy your feast.

What to Bring
Please wear warm clothing, comfortable, non-slip shoes and sunscreen. If you're prone to seasickness we recommend purchasing a "Kaikōura Cracker" from our local pharmacy - legendary.
Cancellation Policy
As our classes are a very intimate size we are unable to offer refunds if you cannot attend. 30 days notice is required if you wish to transfer to another date or to keep your funds in credit for another time. You are welcome to offer your place to a friend if you cannot attend.
