Braided Shallows - Christchurch. Choose from our brand new AirBoat operation - just like the ‘gator huntin’ AirBoats in the Everglades of Florida USA, or the Kiwi born and bred Jet Boat skimming the shallows of the Waimakariri River, Braided Shallows. Just 15 mins from the CBD located in the Waimakariri Regional Park.

Minimum age
2 years old
Conditions
The minimum age is 2 years old, children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Pregnant women are advised not to partake in jet boating. People with medical concerns should mention these at the time of booking. The gorge is a confined area and often large pressure waves appear. Passengers are thoroughly briefed on safety requirements prior to all departures. Boarding is via a 30 foot portable jetty complete with handrails.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund if we cancel the trip due to weather or river conditions not being suitable, insufficient reservations or any unforeseen circumstances such as Covid restrictions. If possible we will re-scheduled your booking for any other suitable day. Cancellations made by passengers less than 24 hours before departure may incur a 50% cancellation fee. Reduction of passenger numbers to the booking within 24 hours of departure may only receive a 50% refund of the passenger’s payment.
