Oxford Queenette Backpackers, OQB, is a convenient stop on Route 72, a relaxed and affordable base to explore the wider Canterbury area or a destination of its own. OQB situated in the heart of picturesque town of Oxford, Canterbury, New Zealand, just close enough to the Christchurch airport to be convenient, yet far away from the polluted hustle and bustle of city living, with interesting shops, a postcard pretty 18-hole golf course, several rivers and horse riding outfits, and numerous walks, day hikes and overnight tramps for all levels of fitness. We are also a great base to enjoy day trips to Castle Hill, Cave Stream, the ski-fields in winter, and even Arthur’s Pass. OQB has 9.9 top points from first 28 reviews of booking engine.
